Are there users of GoldED+ DOS, OS/2, <WinXP still exist in the wild?

Here is a question of the day. Anybody is still using $Echo_tag for exotic OS like mentioned in the $Subj line?

The question comes from the current official/unofficial maintainers of GoldED+
who eager to finally drop backward compatibility with that old shit. We would
like to have at least -std=c++11 as a minimum requirement, so we can actually
ditch those memset()/memcpy() pre-C++ era expressions here and there in the
code. Well, the rationale behind this idea is that if you are still excited
about that authentic DOS experience then go ahead and f..ur slf and use the
original Mr. Sorensen s/w and not the plus one.

There are currently three ancient platforms that bother us.
M$ DOS DJGPP, OpenWatcom C++
OS/2 GCC, OpenWatcom
<WinXP migw, VC6

XP - совсем не экзотика. И для виртуалок с фидософтом и ББС - самое то.

Но под XP вполне можно собирать современными компиляторами. Вон, FAR собирают
же.

Везде запретить использование memcpy и использовать только memmove, скорость в
голдеде не важна :))))

Это всё Сишные какие-то дела, а голдед претендует быть плюсовым.
Там после Одинна стали добавлять std::string, std::vector, и продолжают
копировать инициировать "объекты" memset(), ну и memcpy() конечно.

Как будто первый день в open source.
Берешь и клонирушь репозиторий.
Hазываешь, например, GoldEd 4.
Пусть он будет с блэкджеком и с++11.
Если народ туда весь уйдет - прекрасно.
А так мы за 20+ лет видели много пионеров с горящими глазами.
Прибегут, орут много, нагадят что-то, что совместимо только с тем, что было у
пионера на тот момент, и убегут.

Тут большая часть дядек этого клуба сидит в креслах, курят табак, пьют крепкие
